From June - Sept 20204, art therapists Shan Rixon and Jennifer Raingold ran Flow State sessions at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow. These monthly mindful making sessions were specially devised to focus on creativity and wellbeing for adults with low-moderate mental health needs.

The aim of the project was to create a calm, accessible and supportive space, to help participants feel at ease to learn new skills and be inspired to nurture their creativity.

Each month, a new artform was taught, inspired by the Japanese exhibition on at the time - Mingei: Art Without Heroes.
