Hi, I’m Shan - a London-based artist, workshop facilitator and founder of Mindful Studio.
I run community art studios that nurture wellbeing and creativity, alongside my work in the NHS as an art psychotherapist leading a creative health service.
I’ve witnessed how art making can gently shift the way we relate to ourselves and others. At the heart of my work is a commitment to radical rest - creating spaces where we can slow down, listen, and reconnect through creativity.
Previously, I worked for over a decade in arts education leading innovative youth-arts programmes at Tate and The Photographers’ Gallery. I recently collaborated with the Royal Ballet & Opera on a creative health project exploring the impact of dance on mental health, and currently work with the William Morris Gallery on their Flow State programme.
My mission is to help others unlock their creativity and experience art as a tool for wellbeing, recovery and connection.
