WHat happens in a session?

When you have created something, we might reflect on how the art materials felt and what it made you think of or feel. Taking the time to look at what you’ve made is important. Emphasis is not placed on how ‘good’ it is; instead, art therapists like to encourage reflections on the creative process. If you’re not sure what to do in a session, that’s completely fine as prompts and suggestions can be given to support with this. My role is to help you feel at ease and gently facilitate this exploration.
