What is art therapy?
Art therapy is all about using creativity for self-expression. You might doodle, collage, paint or draw. Perhaps you’ll look through a stack of postcards or choose an object and share what comes to mind. You may even bring in a photo of a family member and tell a story about them. There are so different ways in which you can express yourself creatively without the need for drawing.
Art therapy is open to all, regardless of age. No skill in art is needed - just the willingness to give it a go. Talking is part of art therapy too and you can choose how much you talk or create.
