Flow State

Flow State sessions at the William Morris Gallery are arts and craft workshops run by art therapists Shan Rixon and Jennifer Raingold for health and wellbeing. The aim is to create a calm, accessible and supportive space, where participants feel at ease to learn new skills and inspired to nurture their creativity.

2025-26

Flow State is running twice a month from June 2025 - March 2026. If you live in Waltham Forest and are experiencing low-moderate mental health issues and would like to attend, please contact the gallery with your expression of interest.

2024-25

From June - Sept 20204, we ran the Flow State pilot project. These monthly mindful making sessions were specially devised to focus on creativity and wellbeing for adults with low-moderate mental health needs. Each month, a new artform was taught, inspired by the Japanese exhibition on at the time - Mingei: Art Without Heroes.
